About us
NGO Misto Syly is a non-profit volunteer organization based in Kherson, Ukraine. Founded in April 2021, the group has been actively involved in community development and youth empowerment. Since russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the organization has been at the forefront of humanitarian efforts, providing essential aid to displaced individuals and to all those affected by the war. Our volunteers have been instrumental in organizing and distributing humanitarian aid, evacuating civilians, and providing psychological support. The organization’s commitment to helping those in need has made it an invaluable asset to the community of Kherson.
NGO “Misto Syly” is the official transliteration of our Ukrainian name, which translates to “The City of Power”. This name symbolizes strength, unity, and resilience, which we aim to cultivate within our community and among the youth. While we often use “Misto Syly” as our official name to highlight our Ukrainian origins, the English version, “The City of Power,” conveys the essence of our mission to a broader audience.
